This uncooked sushi grade ahi tuna poke was made available to us as part of a large DoD run under contract by a local US sushi-grade seafood supplier. It is only available for 5 days this year. Each bag contains 7.0 ounces of freeze dried ahi tuba poke, which is the equivalent of about a pound of freshly prepared ahi poke that is ready to serve if purchased at your favorite sushi bar once rehydrated and ready for use. Each ounce of this freshly prepared freeze dried sushi will weigh approximately 2 to 3 ounces of freshly prepared ahi poke when rehydrated with water. 

This package of ahi tuna poke has been freshly diced and flash frozen immediately prior to being freeze dried for you in order to lock the freshness in, so it is perfect to take on a hike or a camping trip without the hassle, mess and waste of having to lug a cooler around with a lot of ice to try and keep your ahi tuna cold.
